Interior design development

We work with developers across luxury residential, hospitality, commercial, and mixed-use developments, creating spaces that look beautiful, attract the right buyers, and make commercial sense from the first floor plan to the final FF&E install.

From boutique multi-unit projects to large-scale developments across Grand Cayman, the Caribbean, and the USA, we design developments that feel intentional, cohesive, and commercially successful.

How we work with developers

Three principles that shape every development we take on, and that protect both the design vision and the developer’s margin.

Common questions

What kinds of developments do you work on?

Boutique multi-unit residential, mixed-use, hospitality, and commercial developments. We work on both large-scale and boutique projects, locally in Cayman and internationally with developers connected to the Caribbean, Miami, Toronto, London, and the Bahamas.

As early as possible. We’re at our most valuable during the early planning stages, refining floor plans, shaping spatial strategy, and coordinating with your architect before construction decisions become expensive to undo. That said, we also take on projects already underway and common-area-only scopes for buildings in mid-construction.

Yes, that’s the standard. We collaborate closely with your architect, landscape designer, structural and MEP engineers, and contractor team to make sure the interior vision integrates with the technical and functional requirements of the building. Our scope is the interior; we work alongside the people you’ve already brought on.

Yes. For developments tied to a hotel brand or operator, we interpret and implement brand standards within our construction and interior drawing packages, making sure all design guidelines, operational requirements, and technical specifications are properly coordinated and executed on site.

Yes. KEMPA Design provides full FF&E scope across residences and common areas — sourcing, specification, procurement, delivery, installation, and styling. We coordinate with the developer’s vendor list where required, or work to our own trusted supplier network.
