Residential renovation design, from plan to finished space.

KEMPA Design is one of the Cayman Islands’ most hands-on residential renovation studios. Many of our clients purchase an existing property to completely transform it into something more functional, more personal, and more reflective of how they actually want to live.

Our approach

From layout refinements to full-scale gut renovations, additions, and complete home transformations, we guide homeowners through every stage of the process, from spatial plans and drawings through to FF&E, installation, and final styling.

Whats included

A residential renovation can mean a single floor or a complete reimagining of an entire home. Whatever the scale, KEMPA Design handles the full process under one roof. Drawings, finishes, FF&E, installation, and final styling, so the design vision survives the build intact.

This list covers what’s typically included on a full-scope renovation. Smaller, partial-scope projects are scoped individually at the proposal stage.

Most full renovations require the home to be vacant during the construction phase, particularly for second-floor or whole-house gut projects. Smaller renovations and finishing-only scopes can sometimes be phased. We’ll be clear on what to expect at the proposal stage.

Either works. We collaborate seamlessly with the contractor of your choice, or recommend trusted contractors from our local network if you don’t have one. Our scope is the design and coordination, the build sits with the contractor.
